A group of Russian hooligans beat up several football stewards amidst a large brawl that took place at half time of the Russia-Czech Republic match in Wroclaw.
According to reports, stewards were beaten by Russian hooligans after attempting to seperate participants of a fight. The incident took place during the half-time break of the Russia-Czech Republic match played in Wroclaw.
Local police spokesperson Pawel Petrykowski said it was the only incident of the evening in Wroclaw. Four stewards were hospitalized following the encounter, but returned home already during the night.
A smaller fight also broke out last night between Ukrainian and Russian fans at the fan zone in Lviv.
