LVIV - Three foreign football fans and a stadium attendant have been hospitalized in Lviv over the past 24 hours, the city's chief health official, Volodymyr Zub, told Interfax.

"Two football fans from Portugal and one from Poland have been hospitalized," he said.

One of the two Portuguese had alcohol poisoning and the other fell from a motorcycle. Both left the hospital after they were given medical attention, saying they had tickets to the Euro 2012 football match, Zub said.

A Polish football fan requested medical aid 40 minutes before the match. He was diagnosed with high blood pressure and moved to a cardiology center. "He remains at the clinic, but he is expected to be discharged today and he will go home," he said.

An attendant at the stadium injured his arm badly when he hitched on a structure and fell. His cut was sown up in an operation.

Twenty-two people applied for medical aid at the stadium and three in fun zones, Zub said.
