Ukraine should guarantee the comfort and security of football fans who have come to Euro 2012 until the very end of the championship, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

"Despite the mess in which we started, we have managed to prepare for Euro 2012. We have provided the fans with sufficient comfort and security. So it must be until the final whistle, so that people take away only good memories and positive emotions," he said opening a government meeting on Wednesday.

"After holding such a massive event, Ukraine will be perceived differently both at home and in the world", Azarov said.
