Director of UEFA Euro 2012 in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky has said that Ukraine is ready to accommodate all fans that come to the country during the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship this summer.

"The situation is not critical, and we are handling it in full, in terms of UEFA’s responsibility for the accommodation of target groups. The situation is also positive in terms of the accommodation of fans. Today, we’re ready to accommodate all fans. There are no fans that Ukraine cannot accommodate during Euro 2012," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday, Apr.19.

Lubkivsky noted that there were thousands of rooms in hotels of various categories at acceptable prices.

"These are one-star, two-star and three-star hotels that are available for the accommodation of fans, and the issue also concerns hostels, sanatoriums, and recreation centers," he said.

He said that Euro 2012 host cities had significantly speeded up the creation of hotel infrastructure. Thus, Donetsk and Kharkiv, which faced the greatest problems, built a number of new hotels. In addition, campsites for fans are being created in host cities.
