Celebrate New Year at your favorite restaurant

Nationalistic New Year
Tsarskoe Selo, chosen the Best Ukrainian Restaurant in 2008 by Kyiv Post readers is holding “Star Night 2009.” The guests will be entertained by singers Iryna Bilyk and Nataliya Buchynska and Tsyhanski Zirky (Gypsy Stars) group. Various entertainments, fireworks, gifts from Ded Moroz and dancing are, of course, a part of the program. Tickets are $200 (non-smoking hall), $350 (Ukrainian hall) per person.

The restaurant of the Premier Palace hotel, Terracotta, has prepared a serious celebration program – a New Year’s journey in space and time. The journey consists of four parts: first stop – XIX century Paris with aperitif drink, classical music quartet and photo-sessions; second stop – Chicago in the 30s with party host Dmitriy Shepelev and jazz from Magic Band; third stop – Moscow in 2000 with singer Marta and dance ballet Lyubovniki (Lovers); Fourth stop – present day Dubai with eastern drummers, dancers, rose petals, deejay and presents. 10 p.m. Tickets Hr 3,750, Hr 4,500 and Hr 5,250.

Every guest who books a table at Ikra on New Year’s Eve will take place in the celebration. Your order must include a bottle of champagne from Hr 1,000 (from restaurant’s wine chart) for two. The rest of your festive dinner is to be ordered additionally – it may include any dishes from the restaurant’s menu as well as those not included in the menu – just order them in advance. You can also pre-order the songs you’d like to be included in the holiday set played by DJ Vice. A special attraction of the party will be New Year’s tree made of shrimp.
