The Ukrainian multi talented singer Jamala was invited to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the 2011 New Wave Song Festival in Jurmala. The contest celebrates its 10th year. Eurovision fans will be familiar with the Ukrainian artist as she competed in the 2011 Ukrainian Eurovision national final with the song Smile.
