tinakarol.net In a stylish ceremony held on March 1 at Kyiv’s Palats Ukraina, Viva! magazine awarded The Most Beautiful People of Ukraine 2008. The winners were selected based on the votes of the magazine readers.

The winners were showman and leader of Studio Kvartal 95 comic group Volodymyr Zelenksiy and pop singer Tina Karol. Karol won the title for the second year in a row. In 2007 she received her award together with TV star Savik Shuster who was named the most beautiful man. Viva! also awarded the most successful celebrities of 2008. Those were singer Oleksandr Ponomaryov and TV-host Masha Yefrosinina.


In total 25 famous men and 25 women were nominated for the title of the most beautiful. Among them were Ani Lorak, Valeriy Harchishyn, Lilia Podkopayeva, Vitaliy Kozlovskiy, Vera Brezhneva, Oleh Skrypka, Andriy Danylko and others.

The show included a gala concert and was hosted by Kseniya Sobchak and residents of Comedy Club Ukraine. The winners Tina Karol and Volodymyr Zelenskiy received free trips to some of the world’s best hotels.
