Famous actors Sylvester Stallone, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren and Jason Statham are to come Kyiv on August 7 to participate in a press conference dedicated to a pre-premiere screening of the film "The Expendables."
The administrator of Kyiv-based Ukraine Cinema confirmed such plans to Interfax-Ukraine and added that the event was being organized by philanthropists (TOP Ukraine International Patronage Organization) and TV and film producer Oleksiy Diveyev-Tserkovny.
TOP Ukraine said in a statement that a pre-premiere screening of the film would take place at Ukraine Cinema at 2100 on August 7. A special press screening of the film for Ukrainian journalists is scheduled for 1100.
The press conference with the participation of the famous actors will start at 1400 on August 7 in the conference hall of the Premier Palace Hotel.
The Expendables is an action/war film written by Dave Callaham and Sylvester Stallone, and directed by Stallone. The film stars an array of action hero veterans, including Stallone himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, and Jet Li, as well as more recent stars such as Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Steve Austin.
The world premiere of the film is scheduled for August 13.
