The fifth season of the Intel Extreme Masters: European Continental Finals will be held in Kyiv Cyber Arena.

The home of Ukrainian eSports, the Kyiv Cyber Sports Arena, will be the venue for the IEM: European Championship Finals from the 20th to 23rd of January 2010. The Cyber Sports Arena is considered one of the best gaming clubs of all of Europe, MYM reports.

Kitted out with 200 modern gaming computers on Intel i5 processors, a seating area that will sit 150 spectators comfortably and broadcasting equipment for live shoutcasts, the venue clearly meets all the demands of a IEM5 competitor.

This season, participants will be competing for a $114,400 prize pool which is up from IEM4s European Championship prize pool of $74,000.

The dates for the Finals have yet to be revealed.
