Tesla Boy
Those who prefer dancing to something more fun than the ubiquitous house and techno shouldn’t miss the upcoming party “Diskach. Addicted to Disco” starring an electronic trio from Moscow, Tesla Boy. Its front man, Anton Sevidov, won his first Jazz contest already at 15 and later went to Germany to record the album for his project Neonavt together with Chris Corner of IAMX and Sneaker Pimps. Neonavt didn’t quite work out and Sevidov spent some time working as sound producer for rock acts Bi2, Brazzavile and Nike Borzov, until he managed to form his own band with Dima Midborn and Borya Livshits. Tesla Boy play fashionable indie pop influenced by new-wave, space disco, synthpop and electrorock and the 1980s music, which is rarely found on Russian and Ukrainian music scene.
