Mo Morris
Feb 4, 2010 at 23:10 | Alexandra MatoshkoIn autumn 2009, the band, playing modern psychedelic rock, finally released its first full-blown album “Institute of Joy,” which was immediately included in the lists of top releases of the year by musical publications I-D and NME. The Guardian critics even called the band “the new epicenter of psychedelic rock music.” Both Mo Morris and his partner Zeben Jameson have a decent history on the music scene. Jameson took part in recording of albums by Oasis, Tricky and the Pretenders, while Morris, the author of the majority of songs on A Mountain of One, has been playing as a deejay for 17 years now. The magnetic duo of Morris and Zeben loves to experiment and record tracks that are reminiscent of the 70s rock, Pink Floyd and light sounds of Air duet – all at the same time. Thus Morris makes for a perfect star guest of the upcoming LOW birthday party where he promises to play a tasty blend of disco, funk, acid and of course, raw psychedelic rock.
