‘Eco Chic’ exhibition
Mar 11, 2009 at 19:18 | Alexandra MatoshkoThe ‘Eco Chic’ exhibition organized by the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine and the Modern Art Center presents a collection from 14 Swedish designers and fashion companies promoting ecological approach to fashion. They use natural fabrics, pledge eco-standards at the production facilities and try to reduce harmful emissions during transportation. The organizers call on the textile manufacturers to update their technology, infamous for great water consumption and air pollution with toxic chemicals and carbonic acid. The Swedish fashion designers strive to make trendy clothes production eco-friendly.
