‘The Cover’ by Vinny Reunov

Ukrainian artist Vinny Reunov based his latest project on the idea that magazine covers are a cultural phenomenon. Perceiving the cover as a piece of art, he used in his works the covers of world-famous publications like “Flesh Art,” “Rolling Stone,” “Art News,” “Frieze,” “Art-Review” and “Q” and even some Ukrainian ones, “Salon” and “Expert.” Reunov presented his own vision of iconic images from those covers. Known as a reclusive artist, Reunov knows how to balance between social and individual. Living between Moscow, London and Kyiv, he is known for such exhibitions as “The Sea of Vodka” (Moscow), “Art of the End of the Century” displayed at Davos World Economic Forum and “Moscow Tour” shown at The London film festival.
