‘Breaking Point’ by Ray Bartkus

Famous Lithuanian artist Ray Bartkus displays his series of works “Breaking Point” in Kyiv with support from Lithuanian Embassy and Domus Design magazine. Born in Vilnius in 1961, Bartkus had many personal exhibitions in Europe and even designed the fifty-lita banknote – still in circulation in Lithuania. Living in New York in the past few years, Bartkus became known as one the most popular illustrators in the US. He created covers for such legendary publications as New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, The Fortune and Los Angeles Times as well as designed covers for books by Salman Rushdie and Margaret Atwood. In Ukraine, Bartkus will create a special cover for the November issue of Domus Design magazine.
