“Shorts Attack” is a collection of best short films from the program of Interfilm Berlin 2008 festival. “Styx” (Germany, 2007) is an animation about a mysterious old man called Haron, carrying people across the mythical river Styx to the “other side.” “Cevepcici” (Switzerland, 2005) shows how the late night preparation of Cevepcici meat balls at a grill bar has strange effect on its customers.

“The Photo” (Germany, 2004) shows newlyweds posing for pictures and “The Pub” (Germany, 2006) paints a grim portrait of a pub and its visitors. “Lovesick” (Germany, Slovenia, 2007) animation shows that love wounds can be healed after time. “Little Things” (UK, 2004) is about small but irritating everyday things in our lives. “The Morning with Different Eyes” (Russia, 2008) shows a blind man who goes for a swim in a lake, leaving a working radio on the bank as his only guide. “Closer” (Spain, 2007) reflects on the power of human touches and gestures.
