‘Viva! The Most Beautiful People of Ukraine 2008’

Viva! magazine continues its tradition of annually awarding the most beautiful people in Ukraine, elected by readers' votes. As usual there are 50 contenders – 25 women and 25 men. This year’s nominees include singers Ani Lorak, Svitlana Loboda, Sofia Rotaru, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Vitaliy Kozlovskiy, sport star and socialite Lilia Podkopayeva, entertainer Andriy Danylko (a.k.a. Virka Serdyuchka) and others. The theme of this year’s show will be “Life is like a movie!” Celebrity guests are supposed to appear on the red carpet dressed as famous film characters. Naturally, many of the singing celebrities contending for titles of the most beautiful, will perform in the concert.
