Mar 25, 2009 at 19:06 | Alexandra MatoshkoAmerican singer and author of children’s songs, John Farrel, is performing in Kyiv. Known as “The Children’s Ambassador” and “The James Taylor of Children’s Music,” Farrel gave performances in more than a thousand American schools as well as other schools and educational conferences around the world. He sang and told his tales in South Africa, Germany, Ireland, France, Spain, Japan, and other countries. Farrel recorded five CDs and wrote a book, “A Stargazer’s Alphabet,” was released in 2007. He also founded “Bridges of Peace and Hope,” a foundation promoting friendship, peace and respect among children though art, music, writing and via the Internet.
