Designer and Beatle progeny Stella McCartney has hit the jackpot once again with her new collaboration with sportswear giant Adidas.

Stella designed a range of fitness clothes for the German company. Her collection went on sale at selected Adidas flagship stores, including the Adidas Sport Performance store on Khreshchatyk street. Stella McCartney’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection combines cutting-edge Adidas technologies with Stella’s unique designs and characteristic attention to details, like laser-edge eyelets, contour seaming and raw-edge trims.

This season’s elegant and stylish collection takes inspiration from ballet for the new Gym Dance range and ornate handcrafted Victorian-inspired embellishments for the prints and cuts of the Tennis line.

The Wintersports range offers sexy, feminine outfits along with padded volume for extra comfort. The Running line features a bold color palette, great attention to detail and metallic elements.

Also, Stella McCartney designed pieces for working out and swimming. Items include reversible jackets, snug gym tops, limited edition yoga shoes and boxer-style swim robes offered in soft pink, lemon and grey.

Apart from the mentioned Gym Dance, Tennis, Running and Wintersports ranges, this season’s collection continues to offer traditional Adidas categories, such as Golf, Gym Yoga, Gym Studio and Cover Up – of naturally dyed organic cotton tees.

Sleeveless tops will cost you about Hr 557, basketball 70’s style shorts start at Hr 345. T-shirts with the “crash” effect – a kind of crumpled fabric – you can buy for Hr 245.

There are lovely beige jumpers for Hr 848 included in the Golf line that will surely suit the game. Golf is not so popular in Kyiv yet, so you might want to wear your jumper elsewhere, along with a complimenting beige blouse with pink specks, a belt and lantern-sleeves (about Hr 610). It can even pass as office wear.
