You're reading: Second Ukrainian plane with 66 evacuees arrives in Kyiv from Tokyo

A plane owned by Ukraine International Airlines, which was carrying citizens of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova from Tokyo, arrived in Kyiv at midnight.

"The plane, with 53 Ukrainians, four Belarusians, and nine citizens of Moldova, arrived in Kyiv from Tokyo at 0002," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press secretary Oleksandr Dykusarov told Interfax-Ukraine.

Representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry and the diplomatic missions of Moldova and Belarus met the evacuees at the airport.

As reported, the first aircraft of Ukraine International Airlines brought 137 Ukrainians home from Japan on March 18.
