Second Ukrainian President (1994-2005) Leonid Kuchma has said he doesn't know whether tapes made by former officer of the State Guard Department Mykola Melnychenko are evidence in the case on the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze.
"I don’t know: These are questions for lawyers, as it still has to be proved that they were cut and edited many times – this is also a well-known fact," he said before his questioning at the Prosecutor General’s Office in Ukraine.
