Second Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma (1994-2005) arrived at the Prosecutor General's Office on Monday for another round of questioning.

This is the third interrogation of Kuchma. The first came on March 23, when Kuchma examined the decision to institute criminal proceedings against him, and travel restrictions were imposed on him. After the second one, on March 24, the former president said that criminal charges had been brought against him. On the same day, Kuchma had a face-to-face meeting with Oleksiy Pukach, a former chief of the external surveillance department of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry.

A criminal case against Kuchma was opened on March 21, 2011 in connection with the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze in 2000.
