Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed Valeriy Zhovtenko Ukraine's Ambassador to Lithuania and Valeriy Hrebeniuk has been appointed head of the country's diplomatic mission to Zimbabwe.

Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych signed relevant decrees on April 8, the president’s official Web site reported.

Since 2006, Zhovtenko has served as deputy head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s department for Central and Eastern Europe.

Hrebeniuk is currently combines the post s of Ukraine’s ambassadors to South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
