Integration into Europe remains a priority for Ukraine, which also plans to cooperate with the Customs Union formed by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan without entering it, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko said in parliament on Friday.

"Ukraine plans to cooperate with the Customs Union without becoming its member officially," he said.

"We are not engaged in any [entry] talks with the Customs Union," the minister said.

Russia has not announced any conditions regarding Ukraine’s membership in the union, Hryschenko said.

"No conditions regarding Ukraine’s accession to the Customs Union have been put forth on Russia’s part. Only a wish to see our country within this association was voiced," he said.
