Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has commented on the information about the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden calling it an important event, the presidential press service has reported.
"This event is important for all countries that wish to live in the world without terrorism," he said, asked to comment on the killing of the international terrorist group leader.
As reported, Osama bin Laden was killed during a special operation conducted by U.S. military forces in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad on May 1. Osama bin Laden had been wanted after terrorism acts on September 11, 2001.
