The Ukrainian government has proposed the Verkhovna Rada oblige alcohol and tobacco producers, importers, exporters and wholesalers to report monthly on their goods production and turnover.
The Cabinet of Ministers registered a relevant draft law at the parliament on May 12.
In particular, according to the document, legal entities that are licensed to produce, import, export and perform the wholesale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco should by the 10th of every month submit corresponding reports to the authorized executive power body.
According to the document, a fine of UAH 1,700 is foreseen for failure to submit reports or incorrect data.
In addition, the draft law extends from three to 10 working days the formalization of licenses for alcohol and tobacco production, import, export and wholesale.
