At least one employee of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic has been declared persona non grata in response to the expulsion of two Czech diplomats from Kyiv, Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg said at a briefing in Prague on Tuesday.

According to him, "this was a necessary step". At the same time, the minister added that "Prague is discussing the next steps as well."

The Czech side took this decision after Kyiv expelled two Czech diplomats accused of spying.
