Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has called for the State Border Service to provide good services to those who come to Ukraine for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

"During preparations for hosting the Euro 2012 European Football Championship it is necessary to speed up the comprehensive implementation of an integrated border management system. The priority here is frontier security, the rate of border procedure realization, a high level of culture of staff and, of course, as a result, the creation of comfortable conditions for citizens crossing the state border," the head of state said at the Training Center for Junior Specialists of the State Border Service of Ukraine in Orshanets in Cherkasy region on Wednesday.

President Yanukovych pointed out the need to implement efficient procedures to prevent corrupt schemes, and in particular, the use of powers by officials of any level in their own interests.
