Politicians must not interfere in the investigation into criminal cases against representatives of the Ukrainian opposition, PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu has said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
"This is the result of an investigation. What is currently taking place [around the investigation into cases against the opposition] is a lawful procedure. Politicians must not influence this process," the PACE president said when asked whether he sees political repression in Ukraine such as the opposition claims exists.
