You're reading: Mohyliov to discuss preparations for Euro 2012 with Polish colleagues

A delegation of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry headed by Minister Anatoliy Mohyliov during a two-day visit to Poland is to discuss preparations for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

The ministry’s media liaisons office, citing spokesperson Iryna Shynkarenko, reported that the delegation would leave for Poland on Monday.

The interior minister will hold working meetings with Polish Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Jerzy Miller and Polish Police Commander in Chief Andrzej Matejuk.

It is planned to discuss the preparations of the two agencies for hosting Euro 2012. In particular, the parties will consider the introduction of the visa-free regime of short-term travel for citizens of Ukraine to the EU.

The visit to Poland will end with a football match between Ukrainian and Polish police officers.
