The holidays of Ukrainian students in 2012 will start from June 6 due to the hosting of the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, the Ukrainian Education and Science, Youth and Sports Ministry has said in a letter posted on its Web site.
Each of the semesters will last for 17 weeks. Winter holidays will last from December 29, 2011 to January 10, 2012, and summer holidays are due to start from June 6.
