The independence of the Ukrainian courts is in danger, Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims Bohdan Futey has said.
"While analyzing what I saw, judicial independence is in great danger," he told journalists on Monday in the courtyard of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv, which is considering a criminal case against former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
The judge arrived in Kyiv to attend the 5th World Forum of Ukrainians, which was held on August 19-21.
