Ukraine will not tolerate any pressure in negotiations on revising the price for Russian gas, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.

"Any pressure in these issues is humiliating to us. We will not allow anyone to talk to us this way. Anything can happen at negotiations. But when we speak to the press, we should adhere to something," Yanukovych told Ukrainian journalists in Dushanbe on Saturday.

"We were first driven into a corner and then started hearing some terms dictated to us. This is humiliating today – not to me personally but to my country, and I cannot tolerate this," he said.
