You're reading: Wizz Air Ukraine suspends flights on Kyiv-Stockholm route

Kyiv-based Wizz Air Ukraine is planning to suspend regular flights on the Kyiv-Stockholm route from November 1, 2011.

"The airline has been optimizing its schedule in line with existing passenger demand and seasonal changes influencing demand. We’re studying opportunities to resume the flights in the course of time," the carrier’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine.

The company said that passengers who bought tickets for canceled flights can re-book them for other flights or obtain the full compensation for the tickets.

Wizz Air Ukraine LLC performs ten international and one regular domestic flight. The company operates two Airbus A320 aircraft.

Hungary’s Wizz Air started operating in 2004. The airline flies to Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Turkey, and Greece.

The group’s fleet consists of 34 Airbus 320s.
