Some 3,000 police officers will keep the peace during the opening of the reconstructed Olympiysky National Sport Complex, Interfax-Ukraine learned at the Public Relations department of the Interior Ministry's branch in Kyiv.
Police officers will keep watch around the perimeter of the stadium and in the adjacent streets. In addition, 12 mounted police officers will help keep order during the ceremony.
Over 70,000 people are expected to attend the ceremony of the opening of the Olympiysky Stadium.
