The European Union's Delegation to Ukraine has said that the EU-Ukraine summit hasn't been cancelled and it is still scheduled for Dec. 19.

"We have no information that the summit has been cancelled. It is still on the agenda," spokesman for the EU delegation David Stulik told Interfax-Ukraine.

As reported, a source from the EurAsEC Secretariat reported on Wednesday that the Ukrainian president would visit Moscow on Dec. 19 to attend a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) Interstate Council. Meanwhile, the EU-Ukraine summit, where an association agreement with the EU may be initialled, is scheduled for Dec. 19 in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said it knew nothing about the participation of Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych in the meeting of the EurAsEC Interstate Council on the day of the summit.
