Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon will visit Ukraine on Dec. 15-16, 2011, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov has said.
He said at a briefing on Tuesday that another meeting of the Ukrainian-Tajik commission on economic cooperation took place on Dec. 5, 2011.
The Ukrainian side was headed by Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Anatoliy Blyzniuk.
Dykusarov noted that the participants in the meeting had outlined their priorities in bilateral cooperation.
"The decisions taken at the commission’s meeting were significant in [terms of] bilateral Ukrainian-Tajik relations ahead of the official visit by the president of Tajikistan to Ukraine, which is expected on Dec. 15-16 this year," he said.
