Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said that he did not like the regime of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

"I did not like the regime in Libya. It happened so that I was in Libya for two months before these events, and I really did not like that," he said in an interview with well-known U.S. television and radio host Larry King, the recording of which was streamed on the First National Channel on Thursday evening.

Azarov said that during his visit, he was unable to meet with Gaddafi, although the meeting was scheduled.

"The meeting was scheduled, and then it was postponed five times. Then I was told that they would call me at 0300, and I asked them to tell Gaddafi that I go to bed at 23.00 and wake up at 07.00, and if such a regime suits him, I'm ready to meet with him, and if such a regime does not suit him, then I deeply apologize to him," Azarov said.
