Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Dmytro Tabachnyk has said that the law on higher education is likely to be passed in the first half of 2012.
"I think that this is the work for the first half of 2012. And it will enter into force, accordingly, from the moment of its adoption," the minister said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
According to Tabachnyk, the Committee on Education and Science of the Council of Europe has made a positive conclusion as a result of the examination of Ukraine’s draft law on higher education.
The minister also noted that all the disputed points had been removed.
