Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that the country has to resolve the question of the high price of Russian gas on its own and received no assistance from other states.
“Today nobody has offered us assistance among those who are criticizing us, nobody, no country – neither from the East nor West. And we have been left alone with this problem,” he said at a meeting with the heads of district administrations in Kyiv on Jan. 13.
