Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has formed a working group which is to work on the implementation of recommendations set out in the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted on Jan. 26, which deal with Ukraine's compliance with its commitments to the Council of Europe.

"The president demands the work should be organized in such a way that the maximum number of issues set out in the resolution should be settled by the next meeting of the Assembly, which will address the report of the PACE Monitoring Committee," the presidential press service quoted the head of presidential administration, Serhiy Liovochkin, on Wednesday.

Yanukovych expects the working group to produce solutions that will ensure timely implementation by Ukraine of its commitments to the Council of Europe, Liovochkin said.
