Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is currently speaking at the opening ceremony of the 10th session of the Verkhovna Rada, despite the fact that lawmakers from the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko-Batkivschyna faction are chanting "Free Yulia!"
The opposition parliamentarians have also put up a portrait of Yulia Tymoshenko in the session hall.
The president waited in silence in the session hall for some five minutes, but then began speaking.
