Seven children were killed in a fire in a private house in the village of Kinetspil, Pervomaisk district, Mykolaiv region, the press service of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry reported on Monday.
Children aged between 2 and 14 died in the fire, whereas their mother was taken to a hospital with severe burns.
The fire broke out at 06.15 on Monday.
Rescuers contained the fire at 07.00 and extinguished it at 07.20.
The cause of the fire is being established.
