Oksana Makar, 18-year-old gang rape victim from Mykolayiv, Ukraine, is said to feel slightly better.

Makar, who was almost burned alive by her rapists, was transported from Mykolayiv hospital to Donetsk Burns Center to get all treatment possible. There, doctors say her condition has stabilized but remains serious. It is still too early to say if she will live, as the young woman is not able to breathe on her own yet.

Mother of one of the suspects who confessed his guilt has recently tried to commit suicide, but was stopped by her other son. The woman believes her son is guilty andwouldn’t leave her house.

Another suspect’s mother has had heart attack after participating in Russian TV-show, talking about the case.
