BRUSSELS (Interfax-Ukraine) – Brussels has confirmed that the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement will be initialed on March 30.

The Committee of Permanent Representatives in the EU heard a report on the initialing on March 21, a diplomat told Interfax-Ukraine in Brussels.

As this is a technical issue, it was not discussed, according to the source.

Thus, the main negotiators on the Association Agreement – Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Neighborhood and the Western Balkans in the EU’s External Action Service Miroslav Lajcak – will initial the document of over 1,500 pages on March 30 in Brussels.
