Former head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) DominiqueStrauss-Kahn will deliver a public lecture in Kyiv on April 4.

The lecture organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will tackle the issues of upcoming changes in the global economy and their consequences for Europe and Ukraine.

According to the press service of the foundation, more than 300 students and winners of the Zavtra.UA and WorldWideStudies scholarship programs of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, as well as businessmen, politicians, and experts will attend the lecture and participate in a discussion.

"Mr Strauss-Kahn’s contribution to the understanding and handling of the 2008 financial crisis is quite significant, and it is a great opportunity for the students and decision makers of our country to tackle current issues with him," Ukrainian businessman Victor Pinchuk said.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation regularly invites world renowned politicians, thinkers and public figures to Ukraine to discuss challenges facing the world and Ukraine.
