EU countries are increasing pressure on the Ukrainian authorities to unblock the European future of Ukraine, Foreign Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt has said.
"We’re increasing pressure on President [Viktor] Yanukovych of Ukraine. He must unblock the European future of his country," Bildt wrote on his Twitter page.
As reported, presidents of several European countries have notified Ukraine that they will not participate in a summit of central European states in Yalta due to the political situation in Ukraine.
In addition, a number of European politicians have said they will boycott all the matches of the Euro 2012 in Ukraine in protest against the situation with the jailed former prime minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko.
