Lviv – Lviv City Council has dismissed the prosecutor's protest against the ban of Soviet, communist and Nazi symbols in the city.

The decision was made on Tuesday, May 8 at an extraordinary session of Lviv City Council, which took place on the square in front of the monument to victims of repression of totalitarian regimes.

All 68 members of the council, who came to the square, supported this decision. Lviv City Council consists of 90 deputies.
