You're reading: Ukrainian prosecutor thanks German ambassador for Tymoshenko’s treatment

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka thanked German Ambassador to Ukraine Hans-Jurgen Heimsoeth at a meeting on Friday for the assistance provided by German doctors in the treatment of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office reported.

"Viktor Pshonka informed German embassy officials of the treatment being provided to the former prime minister and rehabilitation procedures she is undergoing. He emphasized that, in his opinion, involvement of German doctors has significantly reduced baseless speculations on this situation," it said.

The prosecutor general also thanked German embassy workers for their assistance in Tymoshenko’s examination and treatment.
