No Ukrainians were killed or injured in Sunday's earthquake in Italy, the Foreign Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"According to the report of the Ukrainian Embassy in Italy, there are no Ukrainians among those killed or injured," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov said.

As reported, according to latest reports, as a result of the magnitude 6 earthquake in northeast Italy, seven people were killed and 50 injured. About 3,000 Italians were evacuated from the quake zone. The disaster happened early on Sunday morning.
