Vice Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov expects no less than a million foreign fans to visit Ukraine during the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

"There are different estimates of the number of fans, from 800,000 to 1.2 million, but I believe there will be no less than a million," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine during a promo trip of the Kyiv-Lviv high-speed express train on Friday.

Kolesnikov said that they planned to sell 700,000 tickets for Euro 2012 in Ukraine."But there are still fan zones, more fans are willing to come, and the number of guests consequently increases," the minister said.
